3:00 PM: Vocal Awakening with High Priestess, Daisy Press
As the “High Priestess” of House of Yes’ “Voice Cult”, Daisy Press guides individuals through transformational experiences of liberation through the power of their own voice. She writes “The central tenet of Voice Cult is that every voice holds true incantatory power. You were born singing. If you can speak, then you can sing – Through our voices we connect, align, vibrate, express, process, remember, forget, wish, apologize, forgive, go into altered states, heal ourselves and each other, and lure each other into love...” Daisy will be gracing our gathering with a series of vocal awakening exercises. Absolutely no skill or experience required!
4:00 PM: Holographic Sound Journey with The Spa Ship
Gong, Singing Bowls, and Shamanic Drums accompany a journey of transcendental embodiment and love. The ancient overtone instruments create sonic wavelengths that entrain the nervous system into ease, signaling the body to activate its innate restorative powers. Neurolinguistic Programming and vocal toning are used to disengage toxic programming and restructure the holographic sphere of conditioning to support higher frequency life patterns of joy and authentic expression.
Tickets: $20 / free for members.

This class is designed to use a combination of breath, meditation, asana, and gentle movement to aid in healthy aging, to gently introduce yoga movement to the body post injury, and for anyone generally looking to introduce gentle yoga movement into their life. Gentle Flow will encourage students to direct their focus inward while practicing accessible standing, seated, and reclined postures that support a connection to the breath, healthy range of motion, balanced nervous system, and greater mind/body awareness. Students will experience less vigor in this class than in other flow classes, while being offered more movement than purely restorative and yin practices.
New to yoga, or looking to get back to the basics? Yoga FUNdamentals provides both the beginning student and the seasoned practitioner a place to focus on common postures and transitions, that lay the foundation for Hatha yoga. Classes will focus on alignment and will include imaginative strength building exercises to prepare the muscles for the intensity of the major yoga asanas included in a vinyasa flow class. Expect clear instruction and individual assistance, as well as music to keep the environment light and playful. You don't need to be able to touch your toes in this class… all you need is an open mind & heart.
A class designed to help with tension and stress. Calming the waves of emotions and thoughts is the path of yoga, as stated by Patanjali. We will use a sequence of yoga postures and our breathing as a bridge to balance mind and body. The class starts with pranayama techniques, then moves through a sequence of postures that flow into long held asanas drawing the mind inward to a quiet, meditative state. The class ends with shavasana followed by a short meditation. Leave feeling calm, clear and refreshed.
